PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera which is advantageous in cost and space and can perform dimming without time lag caused by pre-emission. SOLUTION: As a TTU dimming system, the light emission quantity of a stroboscope is controlled by detecting light passed through an optical photographing system. In this case, the camera is provided with a CCD imaging device 10 for providing an electronic image from light passed through the optical photographing system and sensors 202, 203 and 204 for stroboscope dimming provided inside the image pickup range of this CCD imaging device 10. |
