<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically start the noncontact charging of a secondary battery by making small-sized electronic equipment, etc., guidagble by induction to the vicinity of a battery charger device without using guidepath wire. SOLUTION: A secondary-side device 202 is provided with a inductive coil 11, in addition to a coil 5 for reception which receives electric power from a coil 4 for transmission of a primary-side device 201. When the capacity drop of a secondary battery 7 is detected, an arithmetic device 9 of a secondary-side device 202 searches the existing direction of the primary-side device 201, based on the electromagnetic field component from the coil 4 detected by means of the coil 11 and controls the device 202 in a self-traveling state. Consequently, the device 202 is guided to a position in the vicinity of the device 201, and the coil 5 for reception can receive power which is sufficient for charging the battery 7 from the coil 4 for transmission.</p> |
