<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal equipment for making a text such as a message easily understandable while maintaining the miniaturization of terminal equipment without operating line feed even when a character string exceeds the number of display digits of a display device. SOLUTION: This portable terminal equipment is provided with a controller 3 for dividing a character group exceeding the prescribed number of characters of an inputted character string into plural character blocks constituted of the prescribed number of characters or less, a memory device 4 for storing the character blocks divided by the controller 3, and a display device 5 for displaying the characters for each divided character block. Then, each divided character block is successively displayed so that the line feed width of the character string in one line can be extended. Thus, it is possible to realize the pseudo-extension of the line feed width of the character display per line.</p> |
