PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the relation between image data and an ancillary signal regardless of rotation or non-rotation of an image. SOLUTION: A rotation control section 901 rotates KCMY image data IMG and a separated signal SEP so that a memory 902 is written from the upper left of a page and read from the lower left of the page. A character part dither processing section 903 and a picture part dither processing section 904 process the KCMY image data IMG rotated by the section 901, and a selector 905 selects the outputs from the sections 903 and 904 according to the signal SEP rotated by the section 901. |
