PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device preventing the occurrence of a faulty cleaning by removing residual toner that is a small-particle-size dry spherical toner or the like forming a high-quality image and stuck to an image carrier after a toner image is transferred to a body to be transferred, and an image forming apparatus equipped with the cleaning device. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is constituted of the image carrier 1 held to be turned, a cleaning roller 2 abutting on the image carrier 1 and removing the stuck toner while it is held to be turned, and a cleaning brush roller 3 arranged on a more upstream side in the turning direction of the image carrier than the roller 2 and rubbing the surfaces of the image carrier 1 and the roller 2. |
