SOLUTION: This molded pulp product is obtained by having a pulp fiber layer 2 molded from a single material composition and having a single layer structure and density distribution in thickness direction. The pulp fiber layer 2 has density distribution in thickness direction from a low density to a high density or from a high density to a low density.
