<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of producing main image data and first and second reduced image data from original image data without the need for post-processing. <P>SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus includes: an image processing section 31 for applying image processing to the original image data and providing an output of the result as main image data; first and second image reduction sections 33A, 35 for generating first reduced image data (after-view image data) and second reduced image data (thumbnail image data) from the main image data outputted from the image processing section; and three output DMA channels ch0, ch1, ch2 for transferring the main image data outputted from the image processing section 31 and the first and second image reduction sections 33A, 35 and the first and second reduced image data individually to buffer areas 11a, 11b, and 11c in a prescribed memory. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
