FIELD: water treatment equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has casing incorporating container with cover. Apparatus comprises additive. Container cover is made perforated. At least upper part of apparatus casing contacting with perforated cover is made from material of spatially globular structure. Height of casing upper part does not exceed 30% the height of container. Area of cover perforations does not exceed 2% of container cover area. Volume of solid additive does not exceed 0.9 the volume of container, which is made from polymeric material. Casing is additionally equipped with case. Apparatus may be used for obtaining in home conditions of potable water containing physiologically needed (medicinal) base additives, such as microelements, salts, vitamins etc. EFFECT: provision for introducing of additives in wide range of concentrations, simplified and convenient operation and maintenance. 4 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
