<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a miniaturized, space-saving, and stable contactless card reading means, and a seat having the contactless card reading means, capable of installing a display unit using a full width of a passenger seat. <P>SOLUTION: A contactless card reader and display unit includes a display unit, having a display face for displaying information, a control substrate for controlling the display unit, and a contactless card reader disposed on the opposite face side of the display face of the display unit.
