PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem wherein: when a motor is idling, the switching operation of an inverter is stopped and no current is passed through the motor; therefore, when the motor is driven again, the positions of magnetic poles at idle cannot be detected or estimated; an operator must wait until the motor stops or forcedly carry out braking control to stop the rotation and then restart the motor in a stop.
SOLUTION: A controller for motors is provided with a phase detecting means 109 that generates a phase signal from the counter electromotive force of a motor 103 when an inverter 104 stops outputting a switching signal. To send a switch signal to the inverter when there is a signal from the phase detecting means, the output of the phase detecting means is taken in to generate a switching signal.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
