Centralized locking system for double door container - has vertically sliding lock bar operated by gravity

A container on a vehicle with a double door has a vertical locking bar. The weight of the bar will move it into the locking position when released after the door is closed. The lower end of the lock bar which has an inclined end face slides into a U-shaped bracket when in the locking position. The upper end has a cut out through which the fixed locking bracket passes when the bar is in the unclocked position. When locked, the upper end of the bar is retained by the bracket. A lever arrangement which is fixed to the container pushes a cam underneath the inclined lower end of the bar, hence lifting it upwards. This unlocks the door at both ends of the bar.
