The cigarette storage arrangement in which the output from one or more cigarrete making machines can be stored, then subsequently discharged, using multiple belt conveyors to form a zig-zag storage path, as in 2546599 also includes a branch serving two different stores. Thus, after passing between two belt conveyors forming a feed path, the cigarettes can travel through a forked region, one branch continuing onwards to a first zig-zag path, or alternatively sideways then onwards to a second zig-zag path. Both alternative stores are reversible.
