The air conditioning system for a room with double glazing has a hollow grid behind eat set of windows, with horizontal channels (11, 5b) and vertical channels (4) for a hot or cold heat exchange medium. The medium circulates inside each grid, travelling from top to bottom. Immediately under the top horizontal (11) is a set of parallel channels (12) fitted with thermostatic control valves (15). These control flow through holes (16) between these parallel channels. The return flow enters the bottom horizontal channels (5b), and those of one section are connected to those of an adjacent section by connectors (17b, 18b) near their junction with a vertical channel.
