<p>On a ribbon or yarn winding machine, a tubular sleeve is fitted between the bobbin spindle and the hub of the bobbin. The tubular sleeve offers a high coefft. of friction in relation to the spindle and the bobbin hub. The sleeve, pref. of an elastomer, is improved by longitudinal striations which may be on its outer cylindrical surface, and/or its inner surface. In this way, a brake is provided for the bobbin, when unwinding is stopped.</p> |
