<p>A hose for liquefied gases consists of an inner metal spiral of Cr-Ni-Mo steel, surrounded by a polyester braiding inside a polyester hose. The latter is covered by an aluminium foil, embedded in two polyester foils. Additional polyester foils and braiding and a watertight tear resistant tissue sheath are covered by another metal spiral, embedded in a coarse plastic tissue with air voids to resist temperatures of 200 degrees C. The protective outside layer is made of polypropylene tissue, coated with ethylene vinyl acetate which is easy to weld, not inflammable and resistant to ultraviolet rays. Such a hose is gastight and watertight over the full temperature range.</p> |
