The invention relates to a covering panel produced by deformation of a plane composite panel, the covering panel containing a backing corrugated-cardboard layer and a decorative and/or padding layer which covers the visible side thereof and is joined, plane, thereto. In the regions of great deformation, the corrugated-cardboard layer is cut out and replaced by a thermal plastic covering.
