The invention relates to a recuperative heat exchanger for recovering heat from exhaust air, in particular in agricultural installations. Because of the specific conditions in agricultural installations, the exhaust air is frequently contaminated in the most common types of recuperative plate heat exchangers. The heat exchange values are depressed by the attachment of particles of dirt to the hot side of the heat exchange surfaces. Even the air ducts, which are kept as small as possible, can frequently be flooded by condensed water. It is therefore necessary to develop a recuperative plate heat exchanger which does not have the characteristics described above which impair the heat exchange, and is as efficient as possible in the prescribed conditions. It is guaranteed by means of the special design of the SDP heat exchanger which has two types of ducts that the heat exchange is optimised and, thanks to a cleaning system and to more rapid removal of the thermal condensate, ensures that the thermal resistance is diminished as far as possible.
