An air-purifying fountain is proposed, which has the function of purifying the air in room interiors of dust, bacteria, pollen, cooking odours, tobacco smoke, etc. In a closed cavity, below a room fountain, a blower is arranged, which conducts air for as long as possible through cavities, through which the water of the room fountain coming from above also trickles. Subsequently, the air passes into the interior of a water bell, where purification of the air is again carried out. With the air-purifying fountain, the technical function of air purification is combined with the decorative aspect of a room fountain.
