A window washing system, in particular rear window washing system for a motor vehicle comprises a spray body which is provided on one body element arranged adjacent to an edge of the window. In order to obtain optimised distribution of the washing fluid and to avoid disturbing wind noises, the spray body is arranged covered behind an outer body element, holding means for the attachment of the spray body being provided inside the body element.
