The invention relates to a device for guiding the lifting platform of hoists which is guided approximately in parallel and is pivoted in the vicinity of the bottom end position for the inclined driving-up (of the vehicles under their own power). The field of application comprises hoists for passenger cars, utility vehicles, buses and tracked vehicles in a closed or split construction. The device is realised by a specially designed, six-link, three-pivot guide mechanism of the Stephenson chain. The most important feature of the solution according to the invention consists in the link-length ratio of the four-bar guide mechanism <IMAGE> A further feature of the solution according to the invention is the hydraulic drive arrangement optimally adapted to the transmission behaviour of the four-bar guide mechanism oABBoABBo. Fig. 1 best expresses the essence of the invention. Compared with the prior art, higher efficiency is achieved with less technical outlay. Thus inclined ramps or additional hydraulic drives, for example, can be dispensed with when the solution according to the invention is applied. <IMAGE>
