<p>Improved racket structure for the game known as "paddle" or "paddle tennis", of the type consisting of an essentially oval flat body which extends to form an integral handle and is provided, at least around the periphery of the said body, with a shock-absorbing rim, characterized in that the racket is made up of a rigid frame 1 which extends into the said handle, the area inside the said frame 1 containing a plate 3 of elastomeric material having the same thickness as the said frame 1, the perimeter of this plate 3 being attached to the frame.
