A VEHICLE PARKING ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM

A system is provided for controlling vehicle access to parking spaces at any given parking facility. The system includes a parking management application running on a client device and rendering a parking space reservation service. An access grant signal containing an access code can be generated using the parking space reservation service, and can be transmitted from the client device to a node apparatus in the parking facility preferably through Bluetooth? connection. The node apparatus may cause a parking barrier apparatus in the parking facility to permit a vehicle with which the access code is associated to access a parking space in the same parking facility. The permission to access the parking space may be granted only upon successful validation of the access code by the node apparatus.
