PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation system which can perform an avoidance operation improved in energy saving performance with respect to the avoidance of a continuous use time-over block function of a gas microcomputer meter.SOLUTION: A power generation system comprises: a power generation unit 1 which generates power using a fuel gas; a hot water storage unit 2 which stores power-generation waist heat as hot water; a block avoidance operation setting implement 3 which sets whether or not an operation for avoiding a block function of a gas microcomputer method 8 is performed; a controller 4; and a backup heat source machine 6 which is provided in the hot water storage unit 2 and produces hot water by combusting a fuel gas in the case of shortage of heat to be supplied to an external heat load. The power generation system varies a flow rate of the fuel gas used in the power generation unit 1 on the basis of a block avoidance operation command, performs a first avoidance operation for avoiding a continuous use time-over block function of the gas microcomputer meter 8, or temporary combustion by the backup heat source machine 6, varies the flow rate of the fuel gas, and performs a second avoidance operation for avoiding the continuous use time-over block function of the gas microcomputer meter 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
