The fire preventive system for fuel tank of an automobile includes two pressure sensors installed on the rear and the front of the automobile and connected to the input terminals of an electronic control unit, and an electromagnetic valve mounted on a refrigerant pipe laid between the air conditioner and the fuel tank. The electromagnetic valve is connected with the output terminal of the electronic control unit so that if the pressure value detected by the pressure sensor is greater than a set value the electronic control unit sends a signal to open the electromagnetic valve to send liquid refrigerant of the air conditioner to the fuel tank.
