摘要 PURPOSE:To highly accurately measure the current azimuth of a mobile body by receiving electric waves from an artificial satellite even if the mobile body is not moving. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of satellite use position recognizers 5a, 5b are provided in an advancing direction of a mobile body to calculate its azimuth by an azimuth calculating means 6, wherein the recognizer comprises a satellite use position measuring means 1 for receiving electric waves from an artificial satellite to measure the current position of the mobile body, a current position recognizing means 2 for recognizing the current position of the mobile body based on the position measurement data from the satellite use position measuring means, a reception state detecting means 3 for detecting a deterioration factor and electric field intensity based on the electric waves from the artificial satellite, and a position determination inhibiting means 4 which inhibits determination of the current position of the mobile body based on the position measurement data from the satellite use position measuring means 1 when the deterioration factor detected by the reception state detecting means 3 is at a predetermined value or higher or the electric field intensity is at a predetermined value or lower.
