Elastic profiled strip for sealing between two components

One longitudinal edge (4) of the sealing strip has a U-shaped recess. Adjoining this are a tubular region (5) and a tapering region (6). The tapering region has a series of through holes (8) transverse to its longitudinal axis, bounded by strips connecting its free edge (11) to the main body. The holes are pref. triangular, with the base alternately parallel to the free end and the main body, or K-shaped with the straight side adjacent to the main body.
