The coffering panel (1) for forming concrete floors comprisestwo plywood sheets (2,4), having a thickness between 3 and 6mm, which constitute the panel principal faces. A core (3) in a water resistant material is located between the plates and glued to them. One of the panel faces acts as the coffering face and the other rests on regularly spaced cross member supports. A frame constituted by an assembly of four battens (5) extends on the perimeter of the panel between the lower and upper plywood sheets and protects the core. The core is made of extruded polystyrene foam. The external faces of the plywood sheets are covered with a phenolic resin film which increases the hardness and increases resistance to shocks. The coffering panel has less weight and increased rigidity than existing plywood sheets.
