ROTARY STYLE INHALE PORT OF A VACUUM CLEANER

The rotary suction port of a vacuum cleaner which has a circular cross section is mounted to the rotary plate(65) at one end. The suction port is surrounded by a damper(64) to reduce the risk in using a vacuum cleaner by absorbing the shock from the collisions with obstacles. A rug fur(69d) and rug protrusions(67c) are located at the lower part of the suction port, and enhance the manipulability. The suction port makes the vacuum cleaner easy to move in every directions on a carpet or laminated papers of floor. The rug fur attached at the rotary plate improves the efficiency of cleaning. The fur guides the dirts on the bottom of the plate to move into the suction port. The force required to drive the suction port on the floor is reduced because of the lower fricitional force between the floor and the rug fur. The rug fur prevents the suction port from sticking fast to the floor.
