PURPOSE: To facilitate cable connection work by inserting a cable into a cable insertion hole disposed in a cover insulator and pushing the cover insulator into a base insulator. CONSTITUTION: An end part of a cable 4 is given terminal treatment for peeling an outside insulating coating 4a and exposing an inside conductor 4b. The exposed conductor 4b is inserted into a cable insertion hole 3b of a cover insulator 3 and an excess portion of the conductor 4a is then fitted into a groove 3d disposed in the cover insulator 3 and so fixed. Then all wires of the cable 4 are treated in end and put through the cable insertion hole 3b of the insulator 3. Then, the insulator 3 is moved toward an insulator relatively, and pushed into the insulator 1. And thus, a pressure contact portion 2a of a contact 2 breaks a cylindrical portion 3 of the insulator 3 through, so that it is connected to the conductor 4b of the cable 4. Accordingly, the cable 4 and the contact 2 are pressure contacted together. |
