The determination method includes the positioning of an essentially flat surface (3a) of the test substrate (3), relative to a surface (1a), oriented essentially parallel to and facing away from the surface (3a) of the test substrate. The surface (1a) is a surface of a comparison substrate (1). The adhesive material layer (2b) is so connected essentially under the same adhesion conditions with the surface of the test substrate and the surface (1a) of the comparison substrate, that the foil (2) with the surface of the test substrate and the surface (1a) of the comparison substrate, form an angle of approximately 180 deg. The surface of the comparison substrate is moved in the peeling direction parallel to the surface of the test substrate.
