PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform appropriate packet transfer, ciphering approval processing and route optimization by transmitting a present position registration message to a home agent, along with the authentication data with a moving destination gateway at the outside of a home network. SOLUTION: On the side of a mobile computer 2, an agent advertisement message sent out by the home agent 5a for managing the present device is received, and whether or not it is positioned inside a home network part is detected. In the case of judging that it is positioned at the outside of the home network part, the care-of address of the moving IP of a network 1b is obtained and a gateway 4b is retrieved. When the gateway 4b and the gateway of the home network match, it is judged that it is positioned inside a home domain and registration is requested by a normal IP packet form. In the case of a new moving destination, the authentication data between the gateways are acquired and transmitted along with the registration message, including the information on a present position to the home agent 5a of the home network 1a. |
