The sensor is of the type which includes: - a housing (11) which can be fitted to a fixed support; - an integrated circuit module (12) having a sensor part (14). The module is fitted into the housing (11), with the sensor (14) at its upper end; - a cable (13) in which several signal cores (18) are covered with an insulating covering. A first end of the covering material (19) being connected to the rear end of the housing (11), the signal cores (18) being electrically connected to the module (12) inside the housing (11). The housing (11) is composed of an internal moulded soft synthetic resin core (16), which covers a first end of the cable insulation (19), the cores (18), the integrated circuit module (12) and parts of the connection formed between each core (18) and the module (12), and; - an external moulded hard synthetic resin envelope (17), over the periphery of the cores (18) so that it completely covers it.
