The charging quantity of the CaO is decided according to the basicity (CaO/SiO2 ) in slag, and the charging quantity of the coke is decided from the carbon concn. and the experience. When the decided CaO and coke charging quantities are differed from the reference value based on the actual data, the charging quantities are corrected so as to approach the reference value. In this way, the charging quantity is made suitable and the reducing reaction in the furnace is stabilized and the metal oxide quantity in the slag is reduced.</p> |
