PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synthesize picture data on the plural frames of adjacent scenes which are photographed by shifting photographing areas with a simple operation and to provide the picture of sufficient picture quality by processing picture data so that the color densities of the synthesized and adjacent end part areas of respective pictures are matched. SOLUTION: Picture data of frames which are synthesized and are set to be panoramic are read in accordance with obtained scene information. Picture data of the respective frames are processed so that color densities near overlapped areas are matched in the synthesized adjacent frames. When the three frames of a frame (a), a frame (b) and a frame (c) are synthesized and a panoramic picture is formed, the area a-1 of the frame (a) is overlapped with the area b-1 of the frame (b) and the area b-1 of the frame (b) is overlapped with the area c-1 of the frame (c). In the dotted area, the synthesized panoramic picture gives natural impression to an appreciating person by matching the color densities of the adjacent pictures. |
