PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe that has excellent resistance to chemicals, particularly to strong acids such as hydrochloric acid, and excellent resistance to leaching, when it is used in boiling water and also has excellent flexibility and mechanical strength and is useful as a chemical solution-transferring pipe in semiconductor production process by constituting the objective pipe with an alicyclic structure- containing polymer resin and adjusting the outer diameter and the wall thickness of the pipe in specific ranges. SOLUTION: The objective pipe is constituted with an alicyclic structure- containing polymer resin that contains >=30 wt.% of recurring units comprising alicyclic structures preferably not containing norbornane ring structure in the alicyclic recurring units, and preferably has a flexural modulus of 30,000 kgf/cm2. The pipe is produced by forming the alicyclic structure-containing polymer resin into a tube so that the outer diameter may become 0.1-50 cm and the wall thickness may become 5-30% to the outer diameter. The above-alicyclic structure-having polymer resin is obtained, for example, by polymerization of tricyclo[4.3.0.12,5] deca-3,7-diene using a metathesis ring-opening polymerization catalyst, hydrogenation of the polymer and addition of a soft polymer to the hydrogenation product. |
