BEND PROCESSING MACHINE AND BEND PROCESSING METHOD USING THIS MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bend processing machine which can perform an accurate bend processing in spite of frame deformation arising from thermal variation and, a bend processing method using this machine. SOLUTION: When a bending processing is performed to a processing material W with co-working of an upper die P and a bottom die D by rising and falling an upper table 5U or a bottom table 5L, variation of a frame 3L, 3R caused by temperature which are supporting the upper table 5U and the bottom table 5L is measured by a length measurement sensor 23. Based on the length measurement data, a D value correction computing means 26 corrects a position instruction S (D value) from a D value decision means 10 of a NC device 9 so as to automatically correct a moving volume of the upper table 5U or the bottom table 5L.
