<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negatively chargeable toner high in triboelectrifiability with a triboelectrifying material and capable of readily attaining a saturated triboelectrification amount in a short time, and low in tendency to cause toner scattering and background fog and photoreceptor fog, and capable of keeping sufficient image density for a long period. SOLUTION: This negatively chargeable tone contains a styrene-(meth)acrylate copolymer having the (meth)acrylate component of <=20 weight%, preferably, 7-10 weight% of the copolymer, and 1-10 pts.wt. of a magnetic powder based on 100 pts.wt. of the copolymer and the toner has aΔC of <=0.035 measured by the magnetic blowoff method.</p> |
