METHOD FOR PRODUCING CYCLIC UNSATURATED ALCOHOL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrially advantageous method for the continuous production of a cyclic saturated alcohol in improved yield of the objective compound by the hydrogenating a cyclic unsaturated aldehyde compound. SOLUTION: A cyclic saturated alcohol is continuously produced by hydrogenating a cyclic unsaturated aldehyde compound. The reaction is carried out by using at least two reactors in series and setting the reaction temperature of the latter reactor to be higher than that of the former-stage reactor.
