<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic toner which gives excellent images. SOLUTION: The magnetic toner contains as an electrification controlling agent, a partial potassium salt of aromatic compound expressed by formula (1) or (2) and shows the ratio of the volume average particle size (Dv50) to the number average particle size (Dn50) ranging 1.0<=Dv50/Dn50<=1.2. In formulae, each of A1 to A3 and R1 to R3 is an aromatic ring which may have substituents, -OH and -CONHR are bonded in the adjacent positions and n is a positive integer.</p> |
