PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack shaft capable of securing meshing accuracy easily and at a low cost, and a steering device using the same. SOLUTION: A pair of shafts 9a, 9b having racks 9c, 9d, respectively is arranged in series. End parts of the shafts 9a, 9b are connected relatively rotatably around an axial line with a ball joint 14 to absorb phase shift between one rack 9c and another rack 9d. |
