<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide magnetic toner which has excellent transferability, electrostatic charge stability and development characteristics, fog less, maintains a high density even in long-term use under a high-temperature and high-humidity environment and hardly produces ghosts and a method of manufacturing the magnetic toners. SOLUTION: The magnetic toner has at least a binder resin, magnetic powder and magnetic toner particles containing a sulfreous polymer and inorganic powder, in which the weight average grain size is 3 to 10μm; the average circularity is >=0.970; when the electrostatic charge quantity of the magnetic toner particles is defined as T1,|T|which is the absolute value of the electrostatic charge quantity satisfies the equation 150>=|T1|>=40; and when the presence amount of the carbon element existing on the surface of the magnetic toner particles is defined as A and the presence amount of the sulfur element existing on the surface of the magnetic toner particles as E, E/A which is the ratio of E to A and the absolute value of the electrostatic charge quantity satisfy the equation 50>|T1|/ (E/A)×10,000}>1.0.</p> |
