<p>PURPOSE: To save water and detergents in a washing machine in which washing liquid is sprinkled over the washing in a tub, without causing cleaning unevenness even if the water level is low during washing, by discharging wash water (washing or rinsing liquid) into the tub in such a way that it is spread over a wide range, and pouring the wash water over the entire washing from above. CONSTITUTION: A pulsator 5 is placed on the inner bottom of a washing/drying tub 4 which is open on its upper side, wash water is introduced to less than the height of the side wall of the washing/drying tub 4 through a circulating water passage 11 by the pumping action of the pulsator 5 being rotated, and a discharge opening 12 is provided at the top of the circulating water passage 11 to discharge the wash water toward the center of the washing/drying tub 4. The manner of discharging the wash water in approximately the horizontal direction from the discharge opening 12 is such that it can be spread over a wide range of the washing/drying tub 4.</p> |
