PURPOSE: A magnetic switch operated by combination of magnets and a method for the same are provided to enhance the security by providing external contacts for opening or shutting the magnetic switch. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic switch includes the first block(BA) and the second block(BB). The first block includes the first magnet(BAM) and a switch. The second block includes the second magnet(BBM). The switch includes internal contacts, a continuity control portion for controlling contacting states of the first and the second internal contacts, and the first and the second external contacts(ECR,ECL) connected to the first and the second internal contacts. The first and the second blocks include the first and the second internal structures to mount the first and the second magnets, respectively. The first internal structure has a structure for shifting the first magnet as much as a shifting interval of the continuity control portion. The second internal structure is used for fixing the second magnet. The first and the second external contacts are connected or disconnected each other by the continuity control portion.
