<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user having no expertise on accountancy to complete journal input to an accounting system. <P>SOLUTION: When the user inputs a transaction on a transaction input screen, a journal input assisting device 102 has access to an account title database 106 and displays appropriate account title candidates as a list. When the user judges that any title seeming suitable for the transaction does not exist therein, reentry of a transaction is repeated. When an objective account title can not be fixed resultantly, the user can request a support by an account assistant. When a support is requested, the assisting device 102 advises an account assistant client 160 of ID (identification) of the user, information on a plurality of transactions inputted according to the above procedure, and the like (Arrow B).
