<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel pump device not being influenced by a variation of the liquid level, by forming a fuel introducing window in a float chamber provided inside the side wall of a housing. <P>SOLUTION: The float chamber accommodating a fuel gauge is provided inside the side wall of the housing, and the fuel introducing window is formed in the side wall of the float chamber, and a storage chamber in a fuel tank is put in communication with the float chamber, and thereby the variation of the fuel liquid level is mitigated without being directly influenced by an eventually generated level variation resulting from vibrations and/or revolving when the car is running. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
