摘要 PURPOSE: A driving device of an ink jet print head, a method for controlling driving a device, and a liquid drop discharge apparatus are provided to reduce power consumption by using a data maintaining part, a data determining part, a shift register, and a clock signal generating part. CONSTITUTION: A driving device of an ink jet print head includes a data maintaining part, a data determining part(112), a shift register(113), and a clock signal generating part(114). The data maintaining part maintains a row of data for discharging liquid droplet. The data determining part(112) determines the maintained row of the data. The shift register(113) outputs the determined row of the data to the ink jet print head. The clock signal generating part(114) generates a clock signal for driving the shift register. The shift register outputs the predetermined row of the data to the ink jet print head.
