<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably support a liquid crystal panel, a reflecting plate, and a lamp and to make a liquid crystal display device lightweight and high in rigidity on the whole. <P>SOLUTION: A vertical back light type liquid crystal display device is equipped with a liquid crystal panel 8, a lamp 3 arranged behind the liquid crystal panel 8, a reflecting plate 2 arranged behind the lamp 3, and a die-cast frame 1 where the reflecting plate 2 is disposed; the die-cast frame 1 has an external frame piece 1c provided with a raised piece 1a projecting toward the liquid crystal panel 8 to support the liquid crystal panel 8 with the raised piece 1a and forms a space for storing the lamp 8; and the external frame piece 1c is provided with a fitting fixation part 12 for fitting the frame of the liquid crystal panel 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
