<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-emitting display device that can irradiate a display plate with bright and uniform light by using a power-saving LED light emission body and also illuminates, specially, even nearby an LED base part. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of LEDs 2 are arranged on the back of the display plate displaying characters, patterns, etc., of a road mark, a signboard, etc., and the display plate 1 is fitted to close a top-surface opening of a frame-shaped case 3 with a bottom surface; and a plurality of LED units 4 which is arranged in the case 3 are composed of an LED substrate 5 which is extended from one side to the other side in the case, a plurality of LEDs 2 which are arranged in a line on the LED substrate 5, and an arc-shaped diffusing lens 6 which covers the LEDs 2 integrally with the LED substrate 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
