<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a remote operation of an apparatus via a control means, and collection of operation state data collected through the control means at low cost, in a remote control/remote operation monitoring system, and to increase the communication speed. <P>SOLUTION: A remote control/remote operation monitoring system 1 includes a press apparatus 2 installed in a factory; a PLC 3 also installed in the same factory; a signal converter 5 connected to the PLC 3 via a cable 4 dedicated for serial communication; a computer 7 for program editing, which is installed in a manufacturing plant remotely located from the above factory, and connected to the signal converter 5 via an Ethernet 6; and a computer 8 for data collection, which is installed in the same manufacturing plant, and connected to the signal converter 5 via the Ethernet 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
