<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for isolating and identifying a liver ovoid cell from the liver, and to provide a method for culturing a single cell of the liver ovoid cell. <P>SOLUTION: The method for separating and/or obtaining the liver ovoid cell from a mammal comprises a step of investigating the expression of CD133, CD45, and Ter119. In particular, the liver ovoid cell exhibiting three cell surface markers of CD133, CD45, and Ter119 in patterns of CD133<SP>+</SP>, CD45<SP>-</SP>, and Ter119<SP>-</SP>is separated and/or obtained from the mammal. The method for culturing the single cell of the liver ovoid cell comprises culturing the resultant liver ovoid cell in the presence of a growth factor and an extracellular matrix. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
